At Newark we strive to:
Οur son attends Newark since we relocated 6 years ago and the idea of a new country, new environment, new language, and no friends was something scary for all of us. Instead, his transition has been smooth, he settled well, did strong friendships, and is really happy with the school and his teachers. We also like the diversity in kids’ backgrounds and that this diversity is respected and celebrated. Our son had the opportunity to participate in Erasmus, which gave him the opportunity of being independent and knowing new realities and cultures. During these years we saw him grow both as a person, as a learner, and as a social being and the school environment was decisive in this developmental journey. We appreciate the efforts of the school, we are proud of his academic progress, happy with our choice to enrol him in Newark and grateful to know that we leave him in a safe environment.
A few years ago Liza studied at Newark school Malta… l want to tell you a big thank you… to the school… Liza is now a second-year student at Manchester University. She is studying pharmacology. For a Russian girl, it wasn’t possible to go to English University without studying in an English language school. Newark school helped a lot. Thank you very much that international children can take education in Newark school Malta.
Ryan started studying at Newark in year 6. As he had an unlucky experience in his previous school, he was very scared to go to a new school. But he felt at home from the beginning. The teachers and management made it very easy for Ryan to feel confident. From year 6 to date, Ryan is very happy and has made a lot of friends with different cultures. Newark gave him the opportunity to participate in Erasmus projects and this made Ryan very mature and independent. He loves these projects as apart from seeing another country, he learns a lot about different cultures. Whenever Ryan has a problem, everyone helps him and tries to find a solution. I am very happy with this school and I am more than sure that we made the right choice
We have to thank you for Giorgia’s development & education! She is very happy at Newark and it is clear to us that you all go above and beyond, which in today’s world is so valuable and rare. Today, the Easter Bunny (who heard about the good work you are all doing there) wanted to hand out just a small token of appreciation. Giorgia told us about the big thanks and the big hugs she received today with a huge smile on her face.

Newark School invests in CLIL
CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning and refers to teaching subjects such as science, history and geography to students through a foreign language. In order to make learning fun, Newark combines CLIL with gamification.
Gamification is the application of typical elements of game playing (e.g. point scoring, competition with others, rules of play) to make learning of different subjects engaging resulting in having more motivated students.
