Intensive English Programme September 2025
Prior to the start of the next scholastic year, we shall be organizing an intensive English programme which is an obligatory course for all new, non-native english speaking students.
This programme will have a duration of 80 hours spread over the 4 weeks prior to the start of the scholastic year from the 25th of August until the 19th of September. The lessons will be held between 9am and 1.30pm Monday – Friday and children will have a 30 minute break at 11am.
The programme will cover a variety of topics and emphasis is placed on understanding the language and speaking freely. The vocabulary is slowly but steadily increased with many age-appropriate teaching materials and games so that the children are soon able to hold conversations in English and understand short stories and subject orientated phrases. Children learn basic grammar intuitively and it is consolidated with special games and exercises. Reading, writing and grammar rules are added according to age and level.
The fee for the full programme is €650 and this course is a requirement for all newcomers who do not speak English as their first language.
