Applications for our Summer School are now open! Newark Summer School will be held from 2nd of July until the 19th of September, Monday to Friday from 8am until 3pm.
Students will have a timetable including English and Maths lessons together with Arts & Crafts, Science Experiments, and other interactive and educational activities.
Parents interested in enrolling their children for the summer school are kindly asked to fill in the application form via the above captioned link at your earliest convenience. An invoice will be sent to you which is to be settled to reserve the place for your child.
Kindly note that fees are strictly non-refundable.
Furthermore, under the Income Tax Acts, parents who pay fees for their children to attend a registered summer school in 2025 are entitled to a tax deduction for each child. This deduction is equal to the lower of €2,000 or the total fees paid during the year for the summer school.
This means that the FULL AMOUNT you pay can be reclaimed through the tax rebate scheme.
We encourage parents who are interested to reserve your child’s place as soon as possible since places are very limited.
Themes which are planned for our summer programme are as follows:
- Week 0: Introduction (2nd to 4th July)
Students will engage in fun ice-breaking activities to get acquainted with one another while familiarising themselves with classroom rules and routines.
Week 1: Adventure in the Wild (7th to 11th July)
Students will explore the wonders of nature and wildlife, fostering curiosity about the world around them through creative and adventurous experiences.
Week 2: Creativity Unleashed (14th to 18th July)
A week of innovation and imagination, encouraging students to think outside the box and express themselves through artistic and inventive projects.
Week 3: Cultures of the World (21st to 25th July)
Students will discover the beauty of diversity by learning about traditions, arts, and customs from different cultures across the globe.
Week 4: Heroes Among Us (28th July to 1st August)
This week will focus on the concept of heroism, inspiring students to explore qualities like courage, teamwork, and kindness in fun and creative ways.
Week 5: Winter in Summer (4th to 8th August)
A cool and frosty-themed week where students will explore concepts inspired by winter, from icy landscapes and ice hotels, to the wonders of cold climates.
Week 6: A Journey Through Time (11th to 14th August – 15th is a public holiday)
Students will take a trip through history, exploring different time periods and imagining life in the past while connecting it to the present.
Week 7: Tales of Myths and Legends (18th to 22nd August)
A magical week filled with stories and creations inspired by mythical creatures, legends, and fantastical worlds.
Week 8: Wonders of Science (25th to 29th August)
Students will dive into the world of science, discovering fascinating concepts and exploring how things work in an engaging and hands-on way.
Week 9: Secrets and Mysteries (1st September to 5th September)
This week will ignite curiosity as students uncover clues, solve puzzles, and develop skills to unlock exciting mysteries.
Week 10: Fun at the Fair (9th to 12th September – 8th is a public holiday)
A lively and colorful week centered on the joy of fairs and carnivals, celebrating creativity, play, and teamwork.
Week 11: The Magic Within (15th to 19th September)
Students will explore the world of magic and imagination, finding wonder in storytelling, creativity, and the power of believing in the impossible.
