Art Shaping Our Cultural Identity

Partners from Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, France and Malta have got together in this project to work on the topic of art and culture. The project focuses on different types of art forms and by visiting each partner country we learn about art and culture in different countries. We will learn about musical instruments and different types of music. The teachers will encourage the students to learn different languages too as they participate in the project mobilities. Digital skills will be strengthened too.
This project is also about cultural identity, celebrating diversity and understanding the beauty of living in a multicultural society.

The mobility in Malta will showcase the best of what Malta has to offer in terms of Art and culture including a visit to the Manoel Theatre. Some local bands will also be invited to perform. The partners will also visit a local band club.

DigiV.I.B.E.S.

The project “Digital and VIrtual music tools to Become an Experimental School – Digi.V.I.B.E.S.” is proposed by the IC De Filis of Terni, in partnership with 5 European schools located in the Netherlands, Turkey, France, Bulgaria and Malta.

The aim of this project is to achieve a clear influence on the learning style, the simulation and the motivation of the students by including ICT in the music pedagogical lessons. Music pedagogy is there for students to be better prepared for social challenges and to be able to react.

The project foresees six short term exchanges of pupils, one in each partner country, for a total of 20 pupils of 11/13 years old directly involved in the mobility, during which they will be able to deepen musical genres generally little explored in school and experiment with the transversal, digital and inclusive didactic modules elaborated by the teachers. In addition to this students will learn to deal with new digital tools and software.
