Prior to the start of the next scholastic year, we shall be organizing an intensive English programme for beginners and we believe that this will be beneficial for your children as it will enhance their foundation before they start classes on the 27th of September.

 

This programme will have a duration of 80 hours spread over the 4 weeks prior to the start of the scholastic year from the 29th of August until the 23rd of September. The lessons will be held between 9am and 1.30pm Monday – Friday and children will also have a 30 minute break at 11am.

 

The programme will cover a variety of topics and emphasis is placed on understanding the language and speaking freely. The vocabulary is slowly but steadily increased with many age-appropriate teaching materials and games so that the children are soon able to hold conversations in English and understand short stories and subject orientated phrases. Children learn basic grammar intuitively and it is consolidated with special games and exercises. Reading, writing and grammar rules are added according to age and level.

 

The fee for the full programme is of only €450 and space is extremely limited therefore early booking is highly recommended.

Finally, we have made arrangements with our transport service provider to provide transport to and from school for this month. This month is NOT included in the free transport scheme therefore the charge for this will be eur70 per child for Area A and eur90 per child for Area B.

 

Area A will cover: Gzira, Msida, Ta’Xbiex, Sliema, St Julian’s, Paceville, Ibragg, Swieqi, San Gwann

Area B will cover all other localities not indicated above.

Applications for our Summer School are now OPEN! Newark Summer School will be held from 5th July 2021 until 10th September 2021, Monday to Friday from 8am until 2pm.

Each week we will have a different theme such as The Jungle, Aquatic Animals, Music, Planets etc. Our group of amazing teachers are currently working on these themes and preparing lots of fun activities for the students. Students will have a timetable including English and Maths lessons together with Arts & Crafts, yard time and other interactive and educational activities.
